Difference between GB and Gb?

GB stands for Giga Byte.
Gb stands for Gigabit.

 I Byte = 8bits
therefore mathematically 1GB = 8Gb.

 Also,
ISPs use like this -
DEN BOOMBAND 5Mbps ULTRA FAST INTERNET!!!!
Thats 5120 Mega bits per seconds = 640 kB/s.
